Press Release: Out of line is a group exhibition that brings together the work of 17 MA Drawing students from UAL Wimbledon College of Art midway through their MA. Curated by Philip Goss of the Centre for Recent Drawing, it gives an overview of the broad range of ways in which drawing practice is currently being explored and interrogated. Out of Line includes a diverse range of approaches to the practice of drawing: sound and spoken word, sculptural intervention, collage, screenprinting, mapping, as well as the more traditional media of graphite and charcoal. The selected works reflect drawing’s special potential to embrace a wide range of expressive possibilities.

Great opportunity to see the variety of our work together in a group show and how strong it is both as a goup and individually. Also good to see the work out of the plan chest and on the wall.
